"The blue background represents the coat of arms of Ireland, as well as County Waterford and County Dublin where my parents are from. The logo features the South Prak and District Pipe Band emblem which is a Celtic not inspired by the design on the old Irish two-pence coin. The only modification is th replacement of '2P with 'SP."
The Bolan crest features an eagle, symbolizing power and strength and a lion representing fearless courage. These are overlaid on a Celtic knot which signifies the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The Irish and American flags represent the Irish American Society of the Oranges."
"My pin contains my family surname's Coats of Arms with the clan motto 'Per mare per terras', meaning 'By the sea and by land'. The baseball bats symbolize my lifelong passion for the sport and the many friendships I've built through playing and coaching in West Orange."
"My pin is broken into four parts, each representing my personal provinces. The McGuire coat of arms, featuring a knight on horseback against a green background, incorporates several elements that collectively symbolize the family's values of courage, hope, loyalty, and readiness to serve. The Celtic Cross reflects my deep-rooted family faith and tradition. A whimsical leprechaun represents the Order of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, an organization in which I serve. Lastly, a Gaelic football and hurling stick symbolize the Essex Shillelaghs GAA, which I founded in 2024."
"I have always seen the Celtic Tree of Life as a feminine symbol of wisdom and strength. It signifies the relationship between by Irish heritage and the strong Irish women in my life: my mother, sisters, daughters and cousins. The Tree of Life also symbolizes connection and embodies the fellowship of the Women of Irish Heritage, whom I represent as a Deputy Grand in the West Orange St. Patrick's Day Parade."
